Our roots may be Somerset, but our branches are far reaching – upholding and celebrating the diverse influences and international connections that inspire our creativity.

We strive for a culture inside and outside our business where generosity, good humour, and respect for each other - as well as the world around us – drive all our decisions. It’s a culture in which the wellbeing of our people, our partners, and our customers is prioritised and valued.

Progress

We are a real Living Wage Employer. We work closely with our suppliers to achieve the same throughout our entire supply chain.

In response to employee feedback, we now operate a four day week in our Somerset factories.

Our partnerships with Mentoring Matters and The Outsiders Perspective use our teams’ insight and expertise to facilitate greater access to the fashion industry for underrepresented and marginalised groups, endeavouring to improve diversity and inclusion within the creative industries.

Our longstanding partnership with London-based charity The Felix Project aims to tackle food poverty in the capital, utilising food which otherwise would have gone to waste and providing healthy meals to those most in need.

Somerset Community Foundation, in partnership with Mulberry, has designed a fund which aligns with our Made to Last strategy, values and wider teams. SCF find good causes which Mulberry supports by awarding grants from our fund, ensuring our philanthropic efforts in the county deliver real impact, helping those most in need.We have developed a network of Mental Health First Aiders, providing formal training courses and qualifications certified by Mental Health England.

The DE&I Committee launched Employee Resource Groups (ERGS) - internal communities of Mulberry employees with shared identities or acting as allies across DE&I topics including Ethnicity, Gender, Sexuality, Disability, Mental Health & Wellbeing. We hope the ERGs will provide a focussed discussion and safe space for our colleagues to drive meaningful change which positively impacts our minority groups and company culture.
